Capitan Release Notes - April 26, 2023
Customers can now add their barcode to Google Wallet and Apple Wallet for easier check-in.
Please note, when adding a barcode to Apple Wallet from a mobile device, the link must be opened in Safari.
There are two main ways a customer can add their barcode to Google Wallet and Apple Wallet:
Adding a barcode to Google Wallet and Apple Wallet from the Capitan invite email.
When a customer is sent the "Join Now" email from Capitan, if the customer already has a barcode assigned to them, there will be two links to add the barcode to Google Wallet and Apple Wallet. The links will also be included when the invite is resent if the customer has an assigned barcode.
If you want all new customers to automatically be assigned a barcode, you can turn on the option to automatically generate barcodes for all new customers in Organization Settings.
Adding a barcode to Google Wallet and Apple Wallet from the Climber App.
For customers that were either not initially assigned a barcode or did not add the barcode to their Wallet from the email, they can add their barcode to their Wallet from the Climber App. The Add to Google Wallet and Add to Apple Wallet will only be displayed in the customer has a barcode.
