Event Booking Windows
Capitan allows you to control how early and how late customers can book your events in the Climber App.
Booking window start
In order to set how early a customer can book an event, use the "How far in advance can someone book this event?" option when editing a schedule (for repeating events) or occurrence (for one-off/multipart events). An event will not appear in the Climber App calendar prior to the chosen time window.
Booking window end
In order to set how late a customer can book an event, use the "Late Booking Window" setting available under Event Details for the chosen event type. This may be set to a positive value in order to allow customers to make bookings after the event has begun, or to a negative value in order to prevent users from booking too close to the start of an event.
Once this window has passed, the event will say "booking closed" in the Climber App, and no longer be available to book.
Note that the above policies only affect bookings made by customers using the Climber App. Staff may manually book customers onto an event at any time by navigating to the event's Staff Site page and selecting "Create Booking".
