Documents Pending Approval (Inbox)
Why is this an inbox item?
Some gyms require customers display a government ID at the front desk, pass an oral assessment or go through another process before a filled out document is considered “valid”. If your gym has this setting turned on for a document template, the completed document will be in the “pending” state until staff grant the final approval.
Actions you can take with a Documents Pending Approval inbox item:
- Approve document. If you can verify the customer passes your gym’s policies (ie they filled out a document on a kiosk in the gym then presented a government ID to the front desk), you can approve the document from the inbox and it will be valid on the customer’s profile for entry.
- Deny document. If for any reason a customer’s document is not approved (failed a verbal test, didn’t have a matching government ID, etc) you can deny the document. The document will still be on the customer’s profile, but can not be used for entry.
- Dismiss from inbox. If you can not verify if a document should be approved yet (ie the customer fills out a waiver at home before visiting the gym), you can dismiss it from the inbox. There will be an alert on the customer’s account. The document will remain as pending approval and can not be used for entry until approved.
