What do I do when I hear the alert noise at check-in?

When a customer uses a barcode to scan into your facility, there will be a sound (configured by your organization) to indicate whether the check-in was successful or if there is an alert that requires attention.

If you hear your the check-in alert noise, follow these steps:

  1. On the Staff Site, navigate to the Check-In page.
  2. Under the Alerts, find the customer that had an alert sound go off and read the warning associated with them.
  3. Depending on the alert, you can click on the customer's name to pull up their profile and assist them.
  4. Once the issue causing the alert has been addressed, check the customer in (manually or via the barcode scanner) to ensure all alerts have been cleared.  This will automatically clear the alert from the check-in screen as well.
